Most of us move through life managing — managing how we look, how we come across, how much we feel and when. For a lot of gay men, that starts early. The body becomes something to monitor, to perform through, to get past.
Trailhead is a full day to stop doing that.
Through somatic movement, guided meditation, Dharma teaching, and an honest facilitated workshop, we practice coming back to the body as a place of steadiness, awareness, and belonging. Small group. Intentional space. Lunch included.
No prior meditation or movement experience required. Just bring yourself.
The Experience
This is a carefully held day designed to help you slow down, return to the body, and connect with other men in a grounded and honest way.
We will move through the day together — settling, opening, listening, sharing, and integrating. Each part builds on the last. Nothing is rushed. You are invited to participate at your own pace, with respect for your body, your boundaries, and your lived experience.
No prior meditation or movement experience is required. Just bring yourself.
